Hot off the press! Man released over murder of pensioner in Kimmage excellent

A MAN HAS been released after questioning over the stabbing death of a pensioner in Kimmage

The 29-year-old was freed without charge at 11. 10am yesterday, and a file has been sent to the DPP

Gardaí confirmed he had been stabbed in the chest, and it’s believed the fire was started maliciously. A 74-year-old man, named as Edward Boyan, was found dead by firefighters who were called to a blaze at the retirement flat in south Dublin on Saturday

The 29-year-old man was arrested in Dublin city centre in the early hours of Sunday morning
